I love to write, having written poetry since I was a child. I have written the beginning chapter of several books. It has only been this year, this book, that I have actually finished writing a book. Well, it isn't finished yet. The first, second, and third drafts are finished, but the editing continues!

 

I married the love of my life in 1972. (Yes, I was a child bride.) He was on active duty in the United States Navy, and we shared the Navy life for the next 20 years. He never went to sea, imagine that, but we did live in some interesting places: Gibraltar, Guam, Hawaii, and others. Together, we have 5 children and, currently, 8 grandchildren.

 

I earned my BEd from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and taught elementary school, teaching every elementary grade, K-6. During that time, I earned my Master's Degree, focusing on gifted and talented education. I taught 16 years. I am glad to have the freedom to write all day if I choose.

 

I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and enjoy serving in the Las Vegas Temple.
